In the festival of Indian culture, Diwali, lights, one lakh of the most important festivals participate in the exhibition, prayers and festive events of fireworks all over the world in every autumn.

This festival is celebrated by the Hindus, Sikhs and Jains for various reasons, although the main theme which runs throughout the whole is good on the victory of light on darkness and good on evil.

To celebrate, homes are decorated with candles and colored lights and exhibit huge fireworks while families share festivals and gifts.

What is diwali?

Diwali is a 5-day festival of light, which is celebrated by millions of Hindus, Sikhs and Jains all over the world. The festival, which coincides with the Hindu New Year, celebrates the victory of light on good and dark on the new beginning and evil. The actual day of Diwali is traditionally celebrated on the third day of the festival, which falls on Thursday, October 23 this year. The festival usually falls between mid-October and mid-November, although it is decided by the Hindu lunar calendar.
